The 1:1 coaching Process

  • In this 60-minute session, we’ll explore your health story—symptoms, medical history, and life experiences. Together, we’ll create an initial plan to ease symptoms and uncover missing links in your wellness journey. If needed, we’ll discuss functional lab testing recommendations to review with your doctor. This session provides clarity and direction, helping you take confident steps toward better health.

  • These sessions focus on your unique goals, symptoms, and overall well-being. With or without lab work, we’ll craft a personalized plan covering nutrition, stress management, movement, and mindfulness. We address key areas like nervous system support, exercise balance, and sleep quality—ensuring sustainable lifestyle improvements that help you thrive.

  • With bi-weekly coaching and unlimited support, we’ll track progress, navigate challenges, and adjust your plan as needed. We focus on progress, not perfection, offering grace along the way. Our goal is to keep you motivated and supported as you make lasting changes—one small step at a time.

  • After three months, we’ll assess your progress and discuss ongoing support. If needed, we offer flexible services like grocery shopping guidance, kitchen organization, and accountability calls. This ensures you stay on track and continue building a healthier lifestyle beyond the program.

Health coaches take a holistic approach, considering various aspects of a person's life, such as nutrition, exercise, stress management, and overall lifestyle. It's a collaborative approach between clients and the health coach to create personalized plans, give guidance, and provide accountability throughout the journey towards a healthier lifestyle.

    Health coaches do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Instead, they support clients in making positive lifestyle changes. They help clients identify priorities, set achievable goals, and overcome obstacles to improve health. The coaching relationship aims to improve overall health and quality of life through dedication, education, and continuous support.

  • A health coach is a professional who has completed a health coaching program and is specialized in improving the overall well-being of clients. They do this by guiding clients in making lifestyle changes and managing stress. The health coach works as a guide to help clients set and achieve their health goals. However, it's important to note that they do not diagnose or treat any medical conditions.

    On the other hand, a registered dietitian (RD) is a professional with at least a bachelor's degree in nutrition, who has completed a dietetic internship, and has passed a national exam. RDs provide advice for various health conditions and specialize in nutrition and dietetics. They offer medical nutrition therapy and create personalized meal plans for specific health needs.

  • We will thoroughly examine your health history. My process involves a comprehensive discussion about your current health concerns and aspirations. We will create a customized plan tailored to your individual needs. This plan will include various components, including personalized dietary recommendations, a customized exercise routine, and ways to manage your stress, among other things.

    I do not love calorie counting; however, if it helps my clients, they can do that! Instead, I focus on fostering a healthier relationship with food by creating balanced meals and promoting intuitive eating. My commitment to individualization means that every plan is distinct, reflecting your specific requirements and objectives.

    To ensure ongoing support and progress tracking, we schedule regular bi-weekly check-ins. Depending on your preference, these sessions can be in person, through Healthie, or via phone. Moreover, I am available for communication through text, voice notes, Healthie, or phone outside of these scheduled sessions during standard business hours.

  • If your main goal is to lose weight quickly at any cost, my health coaching program may not be your best choice. While recognizing the importance of weight management, our approach prioritizes sustainable and holistic habits that naturally lead to a healthy weight. Instead of relying on temporary solutions, often producing short-term results, we create permanent changes that contribute to healthy weight management and overall well-being. My program emphasizes developing a balanced and nourishing relationship with food, exercise, and lifestyle choices for long-term health and lasting outcomes.

  • I have an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach certificate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. It was a 6-month program that encompassed many health and wellness topics, including but not limited to bio-individuality, lifestyle management, holistic nutrition, and coaching principles. The program also explored topics such as mind-body connection, stress reduction techniques, and the importance of cultivating a positive mindset. Additionally, I gained insights into various nutritional approaches, understanding that individualized plans are crucial as every person has unique needs.

    My Integrative Nutrition Health Coach certificate equips me with the knowledge and skills to guide individuals through a holistic approach to wellness. This comprehensive training allows me to support clients in achieving their health goals by tailoring plans that address their specific concerns and goals.

  • The short answer is no! You do not have to be a Christian or believe in God to work with me, however you should know that, that is the foundation of everything I do.
